Effective as of January 03, 2026
CXM Studio provides professional Web Design, Brand Strategy, and Photography services. Because our work involves custom creative labor and dedicated time blocks, we adhere to the following policy:
1. Non-Refundable Retainers
All projects (Web, Strategy, or Photo) require a non-refundable retainer to begin. This secures your spot in our production calendar. Once work begins (onboarding, strategy research, or mood boarding), this fee is fully earned by the Studio and will not be returned.
2. Service-Specific Cancellation Rules
Photography Sessions
- 48+ Hours Notice: If you cancel your shoot at least 48 hours before the scheduled time, you will receive a Full Refund of any payments made toward the remaining balance (the retainer remains non-refundable).
- Within 48 Hours: Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will receive a Partial Refund (50% of the balance) to cover the Studio's lost booking day.
Web Design & Brand Strategy
- In-Progress Work: If a project is canceled by the Client after the strategy phase has begun but before the website launch, the Client is responsible for payment for all hours/milestones completed.
- Timeline Delays: CXM Studio is not responsible for project delays caused by the Client (e.g., late content delivery, missing assets). If a project is stalled by the Client for more than [30] days, the project may be terminated without a refund.
3. Artistic & Professional Satisfaction
You are hiring CXM Studio for our specific creative expertise and "Boring" (clean/minimal) aesthetic.
- Design & Strategy: We provide a set number of revision rounds (as outlined in your specific contract). Requests beyond those rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate. Change of heart regarding the creative direction after approval of the strategy/mood board does not entitle the Client to a refund.
- Photography: No refunds are issued based on subjective "artistic preference." If you showed up and the photos were taken, the service has been rendered.
4. Final Delivery
Once the final website is launched, brand assets are delivered, or the photo gallery is sent, the project is considered closed. No refunds will be issued after final delivery.
